About Us
In 2014, we began with one ancestral farm in the quiet village of Periyakulam, nestled in the heart of Tamil Nadu. At the time, we saw it as a family responsibility — something to manage, preserve, and eventually pass on to the next generation.
But over the years, that land became much more than an inheritance. It became a teacher. A mirror. And eventually, a mission.
Like many who inherit a farm, we felt the responsibility not just to sustain it — but to grow it. Every lesson from our education was put to the test: crop management, resource planning, marketing, finance. We realized quickly that farming is no different from running any serious business. You nurture your product for months. You manage risk. You invest time, capital, and care.
And then comes the twist — the market decides its worth.
You could grow the finest coconuts, but if the region had a bumper harvest, prices would fall. If production dropped, prices would rise — but your volume would shrink. The farmer’s income seemed forever tied to forces beyond control.
Add to that rising labour costs, transportation expenses, input prices, and unpredictable weather — and farming can begin to feel like a losing battle. Yet we never believed the answer was to cut corners or reduce the dignity of those who worked alongside us. If anything, we believed farmers deserved more — not less.
But this story cannot remain about one farm.
Our vision extends beyond Periyakulam.
We believe true change happens when farmers stand together — not individually negotiating with markets, but collectively shaping them. That is why our long-term mission is to build a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) — a structured, farmer-owned collective that:
- Aggregates produce from multiple small and medium farmers
- Provides grading, storage, and processing infrastructure
- Shares market intelligence and pricing transparency
- Builds brand equity collectively
- Ensures better, more stable remuneration for every member
Through an FPO model, farmers are not just suppliers — they are stakeholders.
Our aim is simple yet powerful:
To create a system where we can clearly measure how much more a farmer earns by being part of this network compared to selling through traditional channels.
